Pipe Organ Tuning Assistant:

Once the pipe organ is controlled by an electronic control system adding the ability for the tuner to select stops, pitches and play keys is a logical step. The difficulty has always been, how do you control so much information with a portable device and also without trailing wires across the pipes you have just tuned.

'1602 Group designed an iPad interface to send control data through a wireless network to a mini-server which transmits the control data within the pipe organ network operating the stops and notes as required. An iPhone option is in the works to provide greater portability for specific tasks as the tuner moves through a rank.
